Garrick Watch Company, England

Chronolux Fine Watches are delighted to represent the collections from Garrick London Ltd; a young independent English watch company with its feet in the present, and its heart in a past rich in heritage and character. Stylish, elegant and sophisticated, Garrick represents traditional values and the new generation in English watchmaking.

Rather than adopt the easy way of going about their business, the Garrick philosophy embraces the age-old and labour-intensive skills of hand crafting components, the delicate processes of striping and bevelling and even the manufacture of a proprietary free sprung balance, and as further testament to their ambition, a beautiful bespoke new calibre from master watchmaker and full AHCI member Andreas Strehler at the heart of each watch.

An acknowledgement of skills which had all but died out in Britain, with a very few notable exceptions, the Garrick watch is a modern day love letter to old-school watchmaking disciplines and the tools first used many years before, with classic lines and the not insignificant collaboration with one of Switzerland's finest living watchmakers.

Boasting delightful detailing such as the beauty of a grand feu enamel or guilloché dial, distinctive heat-oxidised blued steel hands and screws, and the decoration of the bridges and plates, all carried out by hand, and all done in-house Garrick have set a high standard, and armed with such passion, determination and devotion this fresh faced new English watch company has marked its arrival in impressive style, and our crystal ball tells us that there is much more to come from this exciting yet reserved watch company.
