Studying and then specialising in micro-mosaics since Maurizio Placuzzi established his company in 1987, and starting out with little else but the passion and determination of its founder, SICIS quite literally revolutionised the centuries-old and almost forgotten craft of micro-mosaics and today can be found in many of the world's most exotic locations.

After many years working almost exclusively on elaborate architectural projects, Sicis turned to capture the beauty and allure of their grander works by reproducing it in miniature on their watch and jewellery collections. Each SICIS piece has been lovingly and painstakingly created by hand in the atelier in Ravenna, Italy, with each tile of mosaic being applied individually. These exclusive pieces are truly a combination of highly skilled craftsmanship, art and contemporary jewellery for the few.
